Lost Jacksonville Restaurant Postcard Prints
Lost Jacksonville Restaurant Postcard Prints
Jacksonville’s restaurant hospitality scene has changed greatly over the years. Anyone remember the old Lobster House, which used to stick out into the St. Johns River near the present-day site of Friendship Fountain? What about Berney’s, where one could dine with “the man in green” and his favorite pup Peggy. And for years, the Hotel Flagler welcomed guests to the heart of Downtown with the “most moderate rates in Florida” and “free auto storage.”
This three-print collection features images of a trio of beloved but long-since closed restaurants and hotel. Each is printed on 8.5” x 11” watercolor paper and will fit most off-the-shelf frames. The image area for each print is approximately 4 x 7 inches. Some trimming may be needed when framing, depending on the type and size frame you purchase. This set would make a great addition to a kitchen’s decor. Maybe even a guest bath.
Each order includes a complimentary one-year subscription to Jacksonville Magazine.
