Vintage Watercolor Postcard Prints of Downtown, Collection 5

Vintage Watercolor Postcard Prints of Downtown, Collection 5

$15.00

Cohen Brothers department store was once the economic heart of the city, an enormous, four-story shopping mecca that drew patrons from across all of Northeast Florida. Downtown was a thriving and growing metropolis, laced with street car lines and businesses of all kinds. The architectural charm and beauty of the city are recalled in this set of vintage postcard images dating back to the late 1880s.

This three-print collection highlights Downtown Jacksonville before suburbs had stretch south of the city and when a trip to the beach required half-a-day’s travel. Each image is printed on 8.5” x 11” watercolor paper and will fit most off-the-shelf frames. The image area for each print is approximately 4 x 7 inches. Some trimming may be needed when framing, depending on the type and size frame you purchase. This collection is perfect for a home office, reading nook or guest room.

Each order includes a complimentary one-year subscription to Jacksonville Magazine.
