Jacksonville Bicentennial Celebration Print
Jacksonville Bicentennial Celebration Print
It was 200 years ago that city leaders got together to officially rename the growing community located at the sharp bend of the St. Johns River in Florida Jacksonville, to honor the former territorial governor (and soon to be President) Andrew Jackson. The 2022 Bicentennial celebrations culminated with a huge street fair and fireworks show the weekend of June 11.
This print utilizes a bird’s-eye view of the river and the Downtown waterfront, originally created by Augustus Koch for the Hudson-Kimberly Pub. Co. in 1893. Each reproduction is printed on watercolor paper, with the finished image fitting a standard 11 x 14 frame. Each order includes a one-year subscription to Jacksonville Magazine.
