Though some may not know it, Downtown Jax is peppered with all sorts of interesting public art, murals, sculptures and historical markers. For the Great Jacksonville Scavenger Hunt, your task is to find them—specifically 24 easy-to-see but often overlooked points of interest.

Each Scavenger Hunt kit includes materials for two teams of players. Competitors must search a 12-square-block area of Downtown. Using a cell phone or camera, each team captures images of the 24 Hunt Targets, the identity of which is revealed through a series of clues.

For example, one clue reads, “Ask not what this man can do for you, ask can you find him?” Here’s another: “Book lover? One of Charles Dickens’ best, since 1861.” Think you can locate those two objects?

Within 60 minutes, all members of your team must find as many Targets as they can and make it to the finish line. The team that has correctly identified the most Targets wins.
