Florida Railroads Map, 1904

$35.00

One hundred years ago the fastest way to transit Florida was by railroad. In fact, the state’s extensive railroad system played a major role in the development of both its coastal and inland regions. Men like Henry Plant and Henry Flagler laced tracks from Jacksonville to Key West to Tallahassee and numerous points in between. This incredibly detailed and colored map from 1904 includes an index of principal cities and railroads serving each.

Originally created by the Rand McNally and Company, Chicago, Illinois. Reproduced via high-resolution scans of original 1904 document. Measures 12 x 16 inches (horizontal). Printed on heavy, fine art quality paper. Source: State Library of Florida.
